Lori Horvik

Lori Horvik (b. ?) is a Fargo-based educator, actor and stage director who is an associate professor of Theatre Arts at North Dakota State University. She is also a founding member of Theatre B, where her directing credits include The Guys, Brilliant Traces, Parallel Lives, and Two Rooms.

Lori earned her M.F.A. in Directing at Northern Illinois University and has worked as a freelance artist and teacher in Chicago for the Playwright's Center, Magic If Productions, The Goodman Theatre, and Loyola University. Locally, she has directed for the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre and the Harwood Prairie Playhouse. Lori currently serves as a site evaluator for the National Association for Schools of Theatre and as a member of the Region V Advisory Board and regional selection team for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

She is married to Scott Horvik. Their daughter is Torin Horvik.
