Lee Barnum (b.?) is a veteran of local and regional theatre as an actress, director, and playwright. She has taught creative dramatics to children in public and private schools for many years, often inspiring them to write their own scripts. Summers, she often goes on the road to direct regional theatre in small towns of North Dakota and Minnesota. She has also worked with the North Dakota Council on the Arts (NDCA) as an Artist-in-Residence. A performer on stage since the age of four, Lee has appeared in some Hollywood films, and regularly does voice work for commercials and theme parks. Lee also often performs as a clown, with her own registered character and makeup. In January 2007, she was presented with a "Career Achievement" award by the North Valley Arts Council.
