Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter (2001) is an 85-minute 16mm movie created by Lee Demarbre.

Main Details[]

Plot Summary[]

As it appeared in the 2002 Fargo Film Festival program: "The second coming is upon us, and Jesus has returned to earth. But before he can get down to the serious business of judging the living and the dead, he has to contend with an army of vampires that can walk in the daylight. This film combines kung-fu action with biblical prophecy and a liberal dose of humour."

Production Information[]

This low-budget Canadian film was made on weekends over a two-year period. It was shot silent with a 16mm Bolex and had its dialogue post-dubbed. According to the closing credit roll, it was "proudly edited on film" (rather than first transferred to video for editing on a computer). A 16mm film print was shown at the 2002 Fargo Film Festival.
