Plot Summary[]
Facing zany customers, dirty bathrooms, and an uptight assistant manager, a quartet of disgruntled movie theatre employees plots to steal a valuable 35mm print to sell on eBay.
Production Information[]
Heist of the Century was shot on digital video and color 16mm film on location at the Century Theatre. The movie was Hovland's final project in Advanced Film Production II in the spring of 2004. At least two versions of the movie have been screened, including a shorter version to fulfill the class assignment and a longer cut that played for cast and crew at the Century Theatre.
