The 2006 Fargo 48 Hour Film Project was a movie contest held during the weekend of 2006. It was the first official 48 Hour Film Project competition in the city of Fargo, North Dakota.
The event was produced by Ira Livingston.

About the 2006 Fargo 48 Hour Film Project[]
The 2006 requirements for the city of Fargo included: a gallon of milk (prop), Professor Andre Popov (character), and "If you had left it alone, we wouldn't be here right now" (line of dialogue). The overall winner of the competition was Milk Babies. Its makers continued on to the 2006 48 Hour Film Project Fall Shootout, which was the next level of the competition. The movie Cinderale was created for that part of the competition.
